camden market

This is not the main market

In spite of its name, this is not the main Camden market. A smallish area of outdoors stalls but definitely worth a look – selling a variety of new and secondhand clothes and CDs. It was even host to the original stall selling magic mushrooms - a business that seemed to take over Camden before eventually being made illegal.

opening times

Many of the stalls are open all week as well as the weekends but - as with most things in Camden - there is a greater selection and more happening at the weekend.   The market is a maze of tiny, crowded aisles lined with clothes stalls - new, retro, vintage, secondhand - there's something for everyone and lots of bargains to be had   There's a great secondhand cd/record stall here where you'll always come across a blast from the past or rare groove you didn't know you couldn't live without. Often pretty cheap, too.
